Baby's First Set of Contacts? Way back in January of 2005, we learned that Kelly needed glasses. When the optometrist told her to go look at frames, Kelly stated that she would rather have contacts. We convinced her to hold off a few years before she tackled contacts.

After breaking one pair of glasses and losing her back up pair this spring, we decided to give contacts a try. She is doing very well with them! She can put them in all by herself (but usually likes a little help) and can take them out and clean them all on her own.

Now if we could only figure out what color her eyes are going to finally end up!

Outdoor Time Last Sunday, after church, the girls and I headed to Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. Kelly, Tally, and I had a great time hiking. Tatum did not : ( Outside contains a lot of bugs (our biggest fear these days), as well as a lot of things that get into our shoes! But we managed to survive a 3 mile trail together.
