Polar Express Pajama Party
Approximately 100 students and 10 adults participated in the annual kindergarten Polar Express Pajama Party. Each week the kindergarten students learn about a new letter of the alphabet. As a culminating activity for the letter P, student wore pajamas for the day, ate popcorn, read and watched movie of the story Polar Express. As per the story, Santa came and gave each of the children a bell. These types of multi-layered educational programs help students develop a deeper understanding of concepts. “I liked wearing my pajamas to school and reading the Polar Express,” said kindergartner Tatum MacLaren. “It was exciting getting a bell from Santa! He really came while we were at lunch!”

(I was suprised to find that Tate had been interviewed and quoted in a city wide newsletter and that she had forgotten to tell me about it--you would think one day that I would grow used to life with Tatum).

Google "Kelly MacLaren" and the first item on the screen is:

Did you mean: Kelly Mclaren ?

Donations for Kelly's future counseling may be sent to a fund that has been established for Kelly named, "I am Kelly, more than just Tatum's Sister."

Hi, Kelly,

Congratulations on making it into the class that will be taking special field trips and doing extra activities. This sounds like a lot of fun. You'll have to write or call and tell us all about them.

We can't believe you are a big third grader already! Have a wonderful year.

We love and miss you so much. We hope to visit all of you before too long.

Love and Prayers,
